Slice, dice and other fall out...

Darlings, behold the citrus juicer and avocado slicer 2007! These are must-have items for an obsessive chef husband. Without prompting on my part, he has deemed it necessary to photograph his culinary handiwork with some of his newest Christmas-present kitchen aids (thanks in no small part to super sibling #1). Shouts of joy resonated from the kitchen this past weekend as he tried out these new gadgets. Suffice to say, he is one happy little cook.

On a related holiday note... I hear through the grapevine that sibling #6 and husband were feeling neglected once again over Christmas. In fact, said husband told his wife he was OBSERVING the rest of us and had decided he and sib #6 have nothing in common with us. THAT's interesting... Perhaps the 100-year-old Scotch did it. Even though I made a point of asking the non-drinkers if they'd like to try a sip. Apparently, sib #6 mentioned feeling like an outsider to the matriarch and the matriarch (and Andy, too, apparently) gave her an ear full about how ridiculous she was being. Which, I must say, is a mild bit of vindication for us all.

Happiest of New Years. Love from me.

Are you freaking shitting me! I am officially "incensed" even though I probably shouldn't be...What a thing to say! Correct me if I am wrong Fellow Super Sibbers, but didn't the three of us TRY to include the littlest sib one or more times...shopping trips from Hell was more like it. Every time I took her with Mom and me, all she did was bitch about something, a la the trip to Silkweeds and the "depressing music" comment. Jeez...do you think the two of them could TRY to include THEMSELVES with US (not that I really care to, mind you). And don't even get me started on the damn birthday comments from last year AND this year as well!!! Christ...WE all spent more time minding and watching out for THEIR daughter than they do...if that isn't TRYING I don't know what is. Maybe if she didn't make the rude and self centered comments I might personally try harder...Sorry girls, but Kimmie is officially pissed now (in case you couldn't tell)! I have half a mind to give them a piece of my mind! It was good to hear that Mom and Andy tried to set the record straight...oh, and Sean TAKE YOUR DAMN HAT OFF AT A DINNER TABLE AND GET WITH THE PROGRAM...OF BEING SOCIALLY APPROPRIATE!

Whoa! Just read this today..How did you find this out Deed? You know what TOO DAMN BAD! They are right I have nothing in common with Sean, and Kim is right take you hat off, watch your kid, and make an effort instead of EXPECTING every one to do everything for you!! Melissa has huge expectations of what is "hers" for some reason and I have no idea what his expectations are and I personally don't care!
I played the good big sister when it came to her wedding including financially and I don't owe them anything..PERIOD! She is alot younger and she just needs to deal with the fact that she did not grow up with us and does not have that history..nor does she try!
WOW!! Forgive me if I don't sympathize! Sib #1
